Welcome to the Desal wiki, the Australian Water Industries portal for tools, resources, and references developed for the National Centre of Excellence in Desalination Australia (NCEDA).

Who should use the Desal Wiki?
The desal wiki is targeted at operators and the general public looking for a platform to learn, share, and communicate; cutting-edge desalination knowledge and data.
Objectives of the Desal Wiki
To provide an inventory of desalination data, and a platform to communicate and share it. This would include:
- Collecting and organising results and findings from NCEDA activities
- Consolidating data on existing desalination capacity from other NCEDA projects into a central database
- Developing and embedding knowledge modules on desalination into the wiki
Rationale for organising the Desal Wiki
The desal wiki is being created due to the lack of consolidation of existing information on Australia’s desalination plants and absence of any sophisticated database or library. This situation is not conductive to the best practice of desalination.
